Assignment 4.1
My name is Zeyad Chreim. I was born on September 3, 1966,
in Beirut, Lebanon. I lived in Beirut until I finished high school
at 19. After graduation, my country was involved in a civil war
so my father sent me abroad for safety reasons. For ten
years, I traveled around Europe, visiting Switzerland, Italy,
France, England, Ireland, Scotland, the Netherlands, Belgium,
Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Germany, Austria, Greece, Spain,
Cyprus, India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. During that time, I
learned about many different cultures and met many different
kinds of people.
In 1995, I went back to Lebanon and started working on a
university degree in business administration. I graduated in
1998 and decided that I would pursue the career I really
wanted, which was to become a math teacher. In 1998, I went
back to school again and earned teacher certification for
secondary education in math. Then in May 2000, I moved to
the United States and received citizenship through my mother.
Now, I live in Texas and am pursuing yet another degree. This
time, however, it is a masters degree in instructional
technology. This is my first semester, and I need lots of As!
My hobbies include computers, sports, reading, and of course,
traveling, and writing poems.
